Memories that seem to flow

Touch upon our very soul

From the past, it's played for you

Thoughts of a time that you once knew

Etched in your mind forever more

Return in time where you were before

Sometimes something will trigger it

And you'll recall a time that fit

There you'll be, there once again

A memory you had with a good friend

That time at the beach that one day

Played out again in the same very same way

The water felt so good to you

On a hot day, and it helped you through

The sandcastle was so very big

That sure was a lot for you to dig

Where did those times go

The years went fast is all you know

But a smile comes across your face

When memories take you to that special place

Within our minds are so many memories of past events that happened in our lives.

  Just a thought will bring us back to them at any given moment. Although I live in the Present,

I love going back to those memories from the Past and it always makes me smile.
