Bird Nose
Song
By Bud Lemire on Feb 12,

In bed, in
the dark of the night, I heard the song of a happy bird
Coming from
my wife's nose, though not a word spoken was heard
It was a
whistle, and the technique she used to breathe
As I listened
very closely, not far off in some trees
The song was
not, as loud as a snore
When the tune
came, it touched my inner core
Here was my
beloved, singing in her sleep
Without
speaking, or even making a peep
She had no
idea, her song touched me so
Or how it
made my spirit, feel so all aglow
Not every
night, will I hear this the way I did
This was the
first night, and I do not kid
It seems like
every night, is so special to me
When love is
open, to all the forces that can be
You can
cherish and love, everything your lover does
And become
something more, than it ever was
I'll not
forget, this special night, that she sang through her nose
The Happy
Nose Bird song, as we slept under covers toes to toes
For every
moment together, is special in my heart
And love of
souls shared, plays a very wonderful part
