Blurp

Blurp

By Bud Lemire on Feb 9, 2003

Now, there are words, like bleep and burp

But why isn't there, such a word as Blurp

I ask you, now, it wouldn't hurt

To have a Blurp, that you could blurt

I think, and I thunk, and it makes me wonder

Some words should be used, even when we blunder

Mistakes are made, in our haste and our speed

Some words are blurted, among those that we need

It's sure bamboozling, at all the words that we use

And what's in the dictionary, and the ones we abuse

Bedazzles and razzles, and shakes our brain

Causing headaches to come, with neurology strain

I think if by accident, we happen to Blurp

Then we'd be in harmony, with all birds that chirp

When we misspell, all the words as we type

It's rather funny, and not to be tripe

For all things make sense, even words not around

Their origins start somewhere, that's when they are found

It's words that we blunder, and bleep, like the word Blurp

That grabs our attention, like the sounds of a slurp
