Yes we’re journey mates, you and I

Bound together in this life, as time passes by

Your presence helps me, as mine helps you

Together we travelers, help each other through

Though the road is long, and it’s sometimes dark

With me by your side, you’ll behold life’s spark

For the spark of light, shining within us each

Are the lessons learned, that we both must teach

Many obstacles, will get in our way

Try to bring us down, but that’s okay

We’ll conquer each one, that should arise

And banish the negative, with our light that shines

As you’ve helped me, I will help you back

Our lights together, will shine in the black

Never to fear, what’s on the road ahead

Only spiritually entwined, to where we’re lead

Your presence lights, the candle of my soul

Our lifetime journey, back and forth will flow

Yes we’re journey mates, you and I
