Here I go on a journey, to the Midwest

Life on the western coast, surely was a test

I will do my very best, at all I do

From this experience, I mostly grew

Pain within is leaving, as I travel forth

Into the Upper Michigan, Yooper city north

I will step forward and be a happy man

Somewhere in my future, is where I'll stand

Helping those who need it, that is what I do

But remember also, you're needed here too

In my heart and soul, everyone I know

Is merged within my spirit, a part of my soul
