A Candle

Like a
candle, flickering with a flame
Some go out,
and life isn't the same
But with each
flame, that grows much stronger
There are
those, that live much longer
A new flame,
is brought to be
Burning
bright, for all to see
Carrying on,
the torch of light
To guide us
through, in the dark night
Burning
embers, inside us each
Love of life,
is what we teach
Values
treasured, lessons learned
Light the
candle, which was earned
Burn on
candle, burn on flame
As you
journey, in life's game
