Crazy
Katie, A Special Lady
by Bud Lemire on Dec 1,
2004
Everyone calls her Crazy
Katie
But I think she's a
special lady
Some people shy away from
her chatter
But to me, it really
doesn't matter
There are many who laugh
and smile
When they're around her
for awhile
They really don't
understand
That's part of her plan
It's her humorous side to
poke fun
And enjoy the responses
she gets from everyone
Oh Crazy Katie, with your
hat, on your bike
When you start talking,
you're easy for me to like
She said she was lost in
the woods, and all alone
So she took the
psycho-path, and it brought her back home
She voted for Santa Claus,
she's alright by me
She's earned a special
place, in my Harbor Tower memory
She livens up this place
With her smiling face
She may be crazy, but
aren't we all
The difference is, many
put up a wall
God blessed you dear Katie
To be a special Crazy Lady
This is about a lady
who lives here at the Harbor Tower where I live.
She seems to talk a lot
and many times some people thinks she's crazy
and so she's got the
nickname Crazy Lady.
But I think she's
alright.
In the last election
she said she'd rather have voted for Santa Claus.
I wrote this poem for
her, because she,
and each one of us have
our own ways and are special.
