Never Stop Believing

Never Stop Believing

by Bud Lemire on Oct 1, 2007

It's when a marriage is nearing an end
When a once lover becomes less than a friend
It's when your spouse is just a roommate
It's when your minds are each in a different state

Are you his slave, do you work so you can stay
In an awkward situation, and there's no other way
You're not even respected, your word doesn't mean a thing
And he really believes that you are a ding a ling

The choices in our lives,  aren't as easy as they should be
We can't look ahead, so the future's hard to see
All we can do is our best, and hope it all works out
And rise above the negative, until there is no doubt

Prayers are heard, by those who watch from above
Never stop believing, the greatest strength is our love
Patience is so hard, but the wait will end one day
The changes that you prayed for, will come around to stay

Your world will turn around, happiness will be found
Music filled with love, will be what's all around
You see I want the same to happen to you
I'll be the one who loves you, and everything you do
