Our Love Belongs Together

Our Love Belongs Together

by Bud Lemire on Mar 9, 2006

Growing up poor, hardly affording a stitch

Coming together, our love is strong and rich

Deep as the ocean, high as a mountain

Flowing love, like water from a fountain

Our love belongs together, like a creme sandwich wafer

Untouched like carefully unwrapped Christmas paper

Like a magnet is drawn to steel

The pull is so strong and wonderful to feel

What lies in the past

Our love is going to last

Truth, will help us sustain

A soul connection that will remain

Like a missing puzzle piece that I've just found

Our love merges on a spiritual sacred ground

Light as a feather, sweet as honey

Warm as a beautiful day that is sunny

I give all my love to you

Until our life here is through

This one is for you my love
