Giving thanks for the food before us

Thanking God for all the people we trust

And for all the love we are given

The breath of life that keeps us living

Giving thanks to the unselfish who share

The creatures of the land and of the air

Thank you for the gift to be able to feel

Thanks for the ability to be able to heal

Giving thanks for letting us be free

To choose and decide on all we can be

Thanks for the love we give in return

The lessons we're taught and the ones that we learn

Thanks for the senses that work so well

The touch, taste, hear, see, and the smell

Thank you God, for walking with me each step of the way

And for making your presence known in every day

Bless this food we're about to consume

And all of the flowers, whenever they bloom

Thanks for the love we give and receive

And thank you dear God, for in you we believe
