Temporary Vessels

Temporary Vessels

by Bud Lemire on Aug 23, 2004

Temporary Vessels, until our bodies die

Releasing of our spirit, it'll once again fly

Impressions of a lifetime, touching within our souls

Reclaiming all our memories, we knew long ago

Pages from an old book, a story being told

Of a human's journey, until the body grew old

The meetings with the strangers, who became the friends

Connections of the soul, where the bond never ends

The passages taken, that lead to a place

To learn about the people, they call the human race

The twists that come about, and at every turn

The lessons being taught, and the lessons we learn

From our experiences shared, others will learn too

And on this road of life, it'll help them to get through

For who is right or what is right, doesn't matter here

Live in peace and harmony, and let go of the fear

Non Judgmental is the one, who guides us each

Giving love and showing love, and teaching us to reach

Temporary Vessels, until our bodies die

Releasing of our spirit, it'll once again fly
