We Honor Who They Are

We celebrate the living, we celebrate the dead

We honor who they are, and how their lives were lead

So many are gone way too soon

We honor their memory in a tune

In our memories forever they will be

To reach for whenever we wish to see

To listen to in a song

In our hearts they'll always belong

We honor their life within a book

Or a photo we cherish as we take a look

An invisible chord that you can not see

Connects you to wherever they'll be

Our thoughts and prayers are heard

They hear them, every single word

With each thought of them, their light grows brighter

With each thought we send them, our pain gets lighter

Your love is felt with thoughts you send

Their love is felt by you, to heal and to mend

For the loving bond between the living and those passed

Goes on and on forever and will always last

I've heard that our prayers and thoughts of those who have passed

makes their lives brighter in Heaven. The glow they normally have,

grows even brighter. I believe it is because of how much they are

loved and appreciated in this life they had been in. They made a difference.

They touched someone here and were remembered. That makes them feel

really good to be remembered. It's like getting a gift from someone that means

so very much. The gift of love is always appreciated.
