What We're Living For

What We're Living For

To live in this world today, we all need money

But how much is needed, now that is the key

Many people are always trying, to accumulate more

But it's only part, of what we're living for

We live to help others, in so many ways

Helping them to see the sunshine, well beyond the haze

We help them to know, just how much we care

And that there's never too much, that we wouldn't share

We live to give, a helping hand

So others can do, the best that they can

We help them, to understand and to feel

That they have the power within, so they can heal

Everyone experiences grief, on their journey home

Someone passes away, but you're never alone

We live to let them know, we will help them through

On the road of life, on all things that we do

There's more to life than money, even though it's true

We need a certain amount, in everything we do

It's the love of human spirit, that makes us whole

The intertwining feelings, of the human soul

I value life and nature and friends more than I do money.

It's what you value that makes you who you are.
