When Your Soul Is Ready

There comes a time in life when choices must be made

When you're feeling weaker and you start to fade

The struggle in life has gotten harder than you ever knew

You've taken more than enough of the pain it's put you through

There never seems a good time to really say goodbye

It's only you who'll know when it's the right time to die

I wish we could all pass peacefully, but life's not that way

We have to deal with all the pain that happens in every day

Many have told you to keep going and to be strong

There words couldn't be more wrong

Only you and you alone will know the right time

When your soul is ready to join with the great divine

You'll leave behind friends and family grieving in the end

While your spiritual self will Heavenly transcend

The human shell that once contained your essence, will be left behind

The adventure of your higher self continues with all you find

Time as you knew it on the Earthly plane

Will completely change for you, memories will remain

You'll find all you could be, is now what you always can be

You'll be happy when your spirit flows in Heaven for eternity

To us left behind, it's not easy to see someone we love pass from this world. But to those who are ready to pass, it is the only choice to rid themselves of the pain they can't take anymore. My belief is that the journey here on Earth is to learn all we can for “Spiritual Growth” and to carry it with our higher self (“Soul” ), as our adventure continues in the Spiritual World.
