Haunted Tower

Len, Steve, & Mark were dashing all about
While on the elevator someone started to shout
Another sighting of a ghost at the Tower
It’s happened several times, within every hour
 
Someone saw a short man disappear in the hall
While another saw a woman who was extremely tall
What were they seeing? What could be done?
Who could they call on? Was there anyone?!
 
Inside an apartment on the fifteenth floor
A Wizard sits waiting to hear something more
He stands for goodness, against evil and bad
Just awaken from the best nap, that he ever had
 
In came a call from the good Witch of the East
“Bud, I’ll be right there, we got to stop this evil Beast!”
On her silver broomstick, she arrived at the window
Then flew down to the front door, for a proper hello
 
Judi and Marylynn are sure they saw Elvis the King
While others just mumbled as if they didn’t see a thing
“This beast lifted the veil letting all spirits free”
The Witch told the Wizard, “It’s up to you and me!”
 
What could they do, what would they find
They knew with power, that came from the mind
“We must form a circle, the more, the stronger it’ll be”
So I gathered all my friends, and they circled around me”
 “Everyone hold hands as we make a human link”
“And here are the words each mind should think”
 
“Be gone you beast, go back beyond the veil”
“God’s on our side, so you’ll only fail”
“We gather in light, with Heavenly might”
“So go back beyond, stay out of our sight”
 
It was too early to tell if it was working right
Len reported ghostly figures still appearing in the night
More people joined in to make the link even stronger
While thoughts were about, “How much longer?”
 
“With Heavenly Light, we bid you goodbye”
“Let ghostly figures return to where spirits lie”
Two hours passed, Judi reported no ghost
Except for those near, that we love the most
 
The Tower was back to the way it should be
Just the normal craziness that everyone could see
The Wizard and Witch seem to have disappeared
But being it was the Tower, that wasn’t so weird

Happy Halloween to all my friends here at the Tower. Remember, your loved ones who have passed are right here with us. Although you can’t see them, they come around and send you their love so often. For life goes on forever, only without the human form. Know that the love you shared with them is always with you, and will always be.
