Suck
It Up

Suck it up,
don't be a baby
There's
nothing to it, don't be crazy
Don't be a
whimp, you aren't weak
Be strong
like me, I'm at my peak
Suck it up,
don't you whine
Stand up to
it, you've got a spine
Don't walk
away, you better not cry
It's no big
deal, you aren't going to die
Suck it up,
go with the grind
Don't be
daft, don't be blind
You know you
can handle it okay
Like a
breeze, just another day
Suck it up,
you spineless jerk
If you were
smart, you'd make it work
But I guess,
you don't have a clue
To be as
strong, because you are you
Suck it up,
and suck it in
Don't be a
loser, when you can win
Suck it in,
and take it all
If you don't,
then you will fall
I wrote this poem from
the position
of someone who is
telling another to be strong. In my opinion a rude
way of saying it,
because how can we truly know what another is going
through. And I'm sure
the person who is telling the other person to “Suck It Up”
has never been in the
same situation of the other person. To understand one must be
the person who is going
through it. So how can one say “Suck It Up?” No brains, no
heart. No
consideration. The point I am making here is, most times we never
know
what the other person
is going through. I'm sure the person who said these things
would never be able to
“Suck It Up” if they were in that position.
