A Horse's Kiss For Kris

Thank you so much, for the care that you give

Making our lives, so much easier to live

You've made us comfortable, in so many ways

And helped us to get through, all of the days

Your gentleness and kindness, and all of your care

And the love that you showed us, that you liked to share

You helped us to cool, when there was too much heat

And you hardly stopped, you were always on your feet

You were always nearby, every day, every night

Even in darkness, you gave us love and light

It's no wonder, that we care for you

Because of all the things, for us that you do

This is to say thank you, for the love that you shared

And showing us each, just how much you cared

With a wag of our tail, we all send you a kiss

For the time that you gave us, we all love you Kris

Kris, I know this is what the horses would be saying if they could talk.

For I know how much love you put into each and everything you do for

them. I know how much care you make sure they have. I know how sad

you feel when you have done all you can, only to lose another Horse that

you cared for. You have done your best, and I know that they know that.

They feel your gentleness and love and caring ways, just as I do.

We all love you.
