The Ferry To The Zoo

There were many dark clouds, in the sky, all around

On the road going somewhere, is where we were found

With only two stops along the way

It turned into a beautiful sunny day

Onto the Walla Walla Ferry, we all went

The scenes from there, were Heaven sent

To get to Seattle, on the other side

Of the Puget Sound, as we went for a ride

Upon arrival at Seattle, when the ride was through

We arrived shortly, at the Woodland Zoo

To see all the animals, that they had there

Gorillas, elephants, zebras, giraffes, and a black bear

There were so many animals, so many to see

Hippos, lemurs, kangaroos, and the monkey

We saw a green snake, eat a mouse whole

We did so much walking, we wore down our sole

We had a great time, to see how they live

And treasured the moment, for what they do give

For each animal is special, like me and you

Just like the day, we took The Ferry To The Zoo

Yes, it was enjoyable to walk through the Zoo,

and see all the animals and how they act. It

was such a nice day too. It couldn't have been

better.
