We're all the “German” clan, from the Apple State

We love our family, and appreciate

We're set apart, on the family tree

A Washingtonian bunch, is what you see

There's Ray and Ann, Annarae, Wanda, Keith, and Joe

And their children, some still need to grow

Traveled back to their roots, that are here

To spread the love of their family cheer

Gather around, share our family lore

Smile and laugh and do so much more

Let's gather and enjoy the time

Share the stories passed down each line

Family means so very much

To stay together and keep in touch

So everyone, the moment is rare

To say the words, “For Family We Care”

A little poem I wrote for a Craft Contest about

Wanda's family. Not even sure it was entered, or

if it won. But I wrote it anyway. By the way,

German was their last name, not their Nationality.
