These Tears

I sit here with tears in my eyes

Strong emotions, which shouldn't be a surprise

Though we just shared some special time together

There are so many yet to be, that we will treasure

As I look over your pictures of the past

The beauty that's seen, always seems to last

I love to stare at you, you've got a beautiful smile

I find myself sitting there, gazing at you for quite awhile

How I want to hold you and walk with you arm in arm

Keep you away from pain, keep you safe from harm

But most of all, I long so much to give you all of my love

Because it seems girl, you're all I've been thinking of

You always seem to touch me in a special place

Whenever I see the smile that's shown upon your face

The feelings of love pass all through me

Inviting and longing, of all things I wish to be

A need so strong, it pulls me to you

A love so deep, nothing else will do

These tears that flow, fall because of love

The longing, the waiting, you're all I'm thinking of

Tears don't only fall because of sadness. They fall because of strong emotions.

Sometimes the feelings get so strong, the desire so deep, that they bring tears. These

Tears are flowing because I strongly desire you and deeply love you my dear Linda.
