Even when she has restriction

Which causes a lot of friction

She finds a way to get through

To say to me “Bud, I Love you"

Even when her day isn't going right

And her clothes and hair are quite a sight

She finds a way to give me an embrace

To share with me her smiling face

Even when her house is very cold

Her warm soul is mine to hold

She finds away to get to me

To show me her love is eternally

Even when the power goes out

And we both just want to scream and shout

Her voice carries her love on the phone

And reaches across the miles so I'm not alone

Even when the nights get so lonely

And I want her tightly to hold me

Her spirit covers me with her light
