She
Wore A Grin

I first met
her at the library, looking up her family tree
She told me
she lived in the same building as me
I'd find her
working on a jigsaw puzzle each day
She enjoyed
my company and what I had to say
Her life
wasn't easy, many struggles to go through
She was trying
to teach her grandson, what she already knew
She moved out
for awhile, later she moved back in
Playing pool
with Bob, she wore a grin
Cowboy hat
and boots, listening to country music play
If seemed
like her life, was doing better than okay
With the
reading she would do, every word, every letter
Her life at
the Tower, could only get better
Taking part
in Bingo on a Saturday night
She took in
the fun, enjoyment and delight
If you see
her, you'll notice her warm smile
She's a
Senior Companion, it's part of her style
She's a
wonderful lady, that I've come to know
If you notice
it lately, her face seems aglow
She's happy,
she's found contentment in her heart
Love seems to
play a very special part
Barb (Papile), I hope
everything in life continues to make
you happy. You are so
deserving of the joy in your life.
Thank you for your
friendship.
