The
Bell Sisters Three
©2002 by Bud Lemire
There are the
Bell Sisters Three, Bev, Nancy, & Elaine
They each
write me e-mail, keeping me sane
They're
distant as cousin, but closer as friend
I look
forward to their life's story, and what they send
They are all
Canadians, my ancestors were too
Our lines
connect in Quebec, the French usually do
They did a
lot of research, on their family line
And we're
connected by blood, their family and mine
We made
contact, in the year two thousand and two
It was a
Pinard tie in, and our friendship grew
Soon Bev &
Elaine, were sending me mail
And later
that year, their sister Nancy set sail
Now I'm
getting mail, from all of the three
I send
letters back, from my wife and from me
They read my
poems, that I send them to read
My poetry is
spiritual, and the soul it'll feed
They shared
their story, of life and of loss
And how it
effected them, and what it cost
With an Olive
on one branch, the maternal bond very deep
Their Mom
guides them spiritually, a love always to keep
I look
forward to their letters to me
My dear
friends and cousins, The Bell Sisters Three
Genealogy has a habit
of helping you find Cousins
that turn out to be
really good friends. Following
this poem, in 2003 I
got to go up and meet two of
the Bell Sisters, Bev
and Elaine, and other family
members and friends.
We stayed up there a few
days in Richmond, near
Vancouver BC, and it
was very enjoyable.
